The examination of the completeness of the requirements for the registration of a mark.

Article 13
  1. The Directorate General shall examine the completeness of the requirements for the registration of a mark as referred to in Article 7, Article 8, Article 9, Article 10, Article 11, and Article 12.

  2. In the case of the incompleteness of the requirements as referred to in paragraph (1), the Directorate General shall have the requirements fulfilled not later than 2 (two) months after the receipt date of the request for the fulfillment of the requirements.

  3. In the case the incompleteness is related to the requirements as referred to in Article 12, the period for the fulfillment of the incompleteness of the requirements shall be 3 (three) months at the most after the expiration date of the submission of the application using a priority right.


Article 14
  1. In the case the incompleteness of the requirements is not fulfilled in the period as referred to in Article 13 paragraph (2), the Directorate General shall inform the Applicant or Proxy in writing that the Application shall be considered to have been withdrawn.

  2. In the case the Application be considered to have been withdrawn as referred to in paragraph (1), all expenses already paid to the Directorate General cannot be withdrawn.
